Its all about the Tools!

Okay I redid my suspension with new shocks and springs. I just wanted to share my $39.99 purchase from harbor freight. This thing worked great. It a little cumbersome but my 13 yo son and I handled it just fine compared to the other shitty one by one compressors autozone and the like sell. I definately recommend this tool.

Thats a sweet tool ~!

Hmm, Im thinking maybe I should get one too, yeah I already have HiperMax III on but that was almost a year ago ~~~ looking for something new :)

How long it took u to install ? the shop that did my install took a long ass time just to try to hammer the old one out.

I was gonna be lazy this time and let a buddy of mines shop do it but they would have taken just as long and then I would have been worried they didn't preload it right or tighten things to spec like I did.

Took me most of the day but I didn't rush and did most of the work by myself. My son handed me tools but the wrench work was all me. It could be done if four or five hours at a reasonable pace. The spring compressor really made it go faster.

Next time I will definately buy need hardware for the top mounts and remove the rear sway bar (it was in the damn way too much) before I start the rears. I am in the process of redoing Robin Yangs DYI to a website because I really think it will help amatuers doing this. Also, I used air tools and large stands for lifted trucks so it made things much easier.

I've got one of those too plus it's a lot safer to use compared to the usual two screw-on spring clamps that are normally available.

Yeah every harbor freight around san antonio and austin could not keep them in stock. I had to go when they received shipment.

Best $40.00 I have ever spent. Its only costs two lap dances and you go home satisfied to boot.
