An interesting "will not start"

At least, I think so.

I know I flooded my car, first off. Last week (when i drove it last) i moved it 10 feet back into the garage and shut it off thinking "it's cold, fuck it, i'll deal with it later."

so, it's flooded. i know that much. so i figure i'll just do what i always do...

i tried various deflooding procedures (pulling ENJ INJ fuse and cranking it, and then putting it back in... pulling out leading plugs and cranking it, etc) but it still won't start. it turns over just fine and occasionally... after i charge the battery back up real good, it'll sputter to a start and then die.

when i take the plugs out after cranking it, my leading plugs are always just fine and my trailing plugs are always wet/black/filthy. both of them.

what does that indicate?

It means you shouldn't knowingly flood your own engine? :squint:

i didn't knowingly do anything. i knew there was a chance i'd flood it, but no, it doesn't flood every time i do something like that. 9/10 times, i'm just fine.

if i've even done this 10 times in the first place.

Bright... Well get friends (assuming you have some of course) and get a good speed and basically push start it. Remember put the key on the ON place and when you think you are going fast enough, use second gear and ease off the clutch so there isn't a big jerk. It's guaranteed to work. Also look at the conditions you are in, if it's wet outside, don't try it as you'll look like an idiot and lock the rear tires.
