Ignition Coils, Spark Plugs and Wires

How good is it to have a forum such as this! I had trouble starting my car over the last month. Well I ended up doing some research and everything pointed toward the Ignition Coils and Spark Plugs!

I changed them out and that is exactly what it was! Pictures below for evidence!!! Car started up very very quickly after all the new parts were installed!

I have 60,000 on the car and as you can see from the pictures, my plugs and coils were long over due!!!

Those spots on the coils mean nothing.

And your plugs were running perfect for a stock 8 tune.

They all build up extra fule and get gunky.

Note how your plugs had tan.

That indicated your coils were just fine.

So what does it mean, that the car starts without a problem now that these are all switched out?

The 2nd and 4th plug have too much cake at the electrode.

Spark plugs were your problem.

Nothing wrong with replacing coils at 60k... your good to go for 5 years or more.

I just changed my plugs at 35k. It was very easy. Ya just need a good u-joint on the bottom one toward the front!
