ignition coil stud snapped
Question that hopefully someone can help with quickly =)
Just changing my ignition coils and my stud snapped. How important is it that those are bolted down? I'm assuming it's important and I'm not implying that I am going to leave it like that but it's sunday and close to 8pm. Anyone know for sure either way? |
I would try to zip tie it down so it would not move as much. But its not a big deal if one coil is not bolted down just zip tie it or something
|
thanks, going to give that a shot =)

zip tie will work
I also have a brand new, unused OE Mazda coil bracket that I can part with, includes all new bolt/nut hardware for mounting it to the block and the coils to it. |
Happened to me but it broke in the block !
Thank God I have an aftermarket bracket that uses a different location. |
