How to remove 3M automotive double-side tape?
I taped voltage stabilizer to the battery cover. Now I would like to relocate it. I used hard force to pulled it out from the battery cover. But all tape still remain on the voltage stabilizer. I tried everything that I could think off. Alcohol Paint Thinner Acetone WD-40 Sea Foam Spray Windex & Googone (left it overnight!) It still not pealing off. Not at all.... :banghead: What next? Thanks. ps. 3M double-side tape really does the job. It withstand high heat in engine compartment very well. Just hope that you do not want to move it in the future. |

Go to speality Auto store buy the 3M adhesive remover.
Yes, they do make this product. Other wise... brake cleaner works on most surfaces including some plastic and cloth. Edit: MEK Methol Ethel Ktone if you can get it. |
