How many cfps of exhast does the engine put out?

Does any one know how many cfps does the engine put out at idle and wot?

it would be the same as what goes in ..... right ?

there are a few threads on this - here is a readout from the maf at WOT

Not necessarily. Air going in is going to be much cooler (and, as predicted by Boyle's Gas Laws, much denser) than what will come out. There's also the relative densities of the gases at similar temps (air v.s. exhaust gasses).

Now, a similar mass of material should come out of the engine as what goes in (in the form of air and fuel). Which would lead me to believe that output rate would be much greater than input rate as you are turning a (relatively) dense material (gasoline) into a far less dense material (gasseous CO, CO2, H2O, N2O, SO2, etc).

yeah - the gas products of the fuel combustion probably account for a big portion of the exhaust... if air in = air out, then there wouldnt be any CO2 emissions problems contribution to global warming.

i'm curious to know the answer to this question as well
