How hard to Uninstall and Reinstall a New Radiator?

I bought my 2004 GT Auto RX8 with only 69,000 miles on it 10 days ago and just a couple days after purchasing it the radiator literally exploded. So I need a new one and my car has been sitting at my local repair shop for almost a week now. The car dealer is giving me the run around it feels like about my 30 day warranty.

I have a bad feeling Im gonna get screwed on this deal so i was thinking about doing the radiator myself. Im definitely a very handy guy but havent done much work on cars but I really am handy at a good variety of things

How hard of a job is it to uninstall and reinstall it?

How long should it take?

Is there a website with directions on doing this on a RX8?

i did mine myself and it wasnt very difficult. i think the autos have a trans cooler in the bottom portion of the rad tho. 9k and nycgps both have threads in the diy section

Moved to Tech. The DIY section is for when you have a set of instructions to post.

Check the DIY stickies that list all the DIYs we have, and see if the needed DIY is in there. If that fails, google search DIY RX-8 radiator replacement. You can also look for the shop manual that would have the factory precedure, though a DIY by an owner will usually be more descriptive and include tips that the factory manual won't.
