High Octane?!

I was wondering if wankel engine/renisis can stand to get high octane gas, and little or if any benifits come with it.. Im talkin like jet fuel 100+?! Just curious im a new rotary owner...

No, the car functions at it's optimal level at 91/93 octane (timing is fully advanced). You would not get any more hp from it. I have heard in some cases (but more with the piston & carbuerated engines) where somebody was using 113 octane gas and burned a hole through their intake manifold.

Please don't......

You should probably avoid jet fuel, your car will not like it.

Jet fuel is basically kerosene. If you mean Aviation gas, it is still allowed to have lots of tetra-ethyl lead additive, and will ruin your catalyst in minutes.

Just buy what it says in the manual
