HELP! What is this?

Car runs fine. Its oil not water. Why? I found this while cleaning my air filter (KN). Has anyone else has got this before?

I would say the bottom of the box is from too much oil on the KN filter.

TB looks clean from the photo.

The oil in the tube.... check it out. If thick its motor oil, if thin its from the KN oil.

Clean MAF intake and tube.

Don't fill you oil too fast. It will go down the tube into the intake.

Best way to fix it is to put a filter on the oil filler and cap off the intake.

when you add oil, are you using a funnel? If not, you're pouring it too quickly and it's making its way into the intake.
use a small funnel, you should be fine.

Breather or catch can will help also but not always necessary.

Follow The funnel part.

and MAKE sure that you're not overfilling your motor oil.
