help with new intake

Right now i have a k&n Typhoon intake in my 2004 rx8 and after having trouble with the rough idle, i bought the racing beat revi intake and cold air duct. when i started to put in the new intake i found out that i need some of the stock oem parts. i need a few hoses and other things that i no longer have. the only problem is that i dont know what exactly i need and the dealership by me is full of idiots. can anybody help me figure out what stock parts i need to install the revi intake. thanks.

im not sure what parts u talking about, I had typhoon version 1 and Im using version 2 now. the only part that u really need from stock should be the MAF sensor and the rubber thing to hold the engine cover (I dont even put my engine cover back)

and in version 2 you'll need to take the mesh in the airbox out and put it into he tube.

So Im not sure what part r u talking about.

when you installed the typhoon one, you took out the hose and replaced it with the straight metal one, the only problem is with the revi, i need the hose again and i think a few other parts

you need the accordian hose from the box to the throttle body. i dont hink you need anything else- well the tubes running to/from the accordian tube, yes?

i think they got it. wait, what's the accordian hose? i remember all the hoses were taken out. and plugged up. from what i remember, what nycgps said.

There's also a plastic noise filter thing that goes next to that area. You might need that as well. (I'll see if I can find a pic for ya)
