Gears

I have looked every where and havn't found any info on gears. I was told that it may have a ford ranger rear end. If any one knows what kind of gears or what rear end the rx-8 matchs with it would be a big help.:D

It's pretty widely published and discussed that the RX-8 uses a torque sensing limited slip differential manufactured by Tochigi-Fuji corporation of Japan (same as Torsen LSD). I'm pretty sure those aren't used in a Ford Ranger! Diff ratio is 4.44:1 (also unlikely to be found in a Ranger).

Gordon
