Pictures showing front jack spot and rear jack spot

Hi guys, I read through the forum but im just not able to spot the front jack point! here's a blown up pic of my underside: http://pastehere.com/?maypkq

Can someone possibly circle it and reupload the pic? THANKS

P.S. I'm using a floor jack as you can see way on the right of the pic.. I just slid it underneath, its not actually lifting the car up as the pic may be deceiving.

Yes, on the crossmember. That piece of steel that looks like you've bottomed out a million times

maverick02 01-02-2008 10:51 AM

heh, but it doesnt seem to have any support in the center? its merely bolted on the sides..

BlackRX82006 01-02-2008 10:57 AM

I'm sorry man I spaced out. I'm still half asleep in bed right now. That the piece that you pointed the arrow to is correct. Not that bar I was talking about

maverick02 01-02-2008 11:00 AM

oh okay.. i updated the picture to reflect the part you were talking about. I'll go take a better picture of where the arrow points to as a reference for other forum members...

maverick02 01-02-2008 11:14 AM

okay, so one final check, where i enclosed the region with the red box in post #3, that's the spot?

BlackRX82006 01-02-2008 11:17 AM

Yes Sir

maverick02 01-02-2008 11:20 AM

Thank you very much blackrx8! I hope these pictures help out other members!

BlackRX82006 01-02-2008 11:20 AM

No, on the bottom of the differential

maverick02 01-02-2008 11:24 AM

Oh.. yeah I need a better picture.. I dont see it above.

BlackRX82006 01-02-2008 11:34 AM

Yeah the rear jack point is just right on the differential. Not too difficult

NgoRX8 01-02-2008 11:56 AM

the front jack point you have right. the rear you can jack up there, just don't put unnecessary force on the control link rod. the correct place to put it is here
