First Post- Need Some Info

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but am EXTREMELY familiar with the RX7 forums all over the net, and I need some information. Since I am knew I figured I'd share some information about myself with you before I ask my question.

I'm a 20 (soon to be 21) college student. I own a 1986 Mazda RX7 GXL. It was given to me when I got my license (www.ravenish.com). Right now its garaged because I need something more reliable. I'm driving a Pontiac Grand Prix at the moment and for a DD it's fine. My paretns bought the RX8 in April and the car is a blast to drive. I agree it's not the fastest car out there but it really fun to mess around in. It is really fun to take the FC and the RX8 out and joy ride. Anyways here is my question.

The rx8 is driven maybe 3 times a week, and I make sure that my parents warm it up. They have owned a rotary before and understand the workings of it which is pretty impressive. I was checking the oil in all the vehicles that we have and when I checked teh RX8 I noticed that the oil had this substance. It was colored like wood puddy but was more liquidated. The only thing I can guess is maybe water got into the oil? I've searched teh forum and I searched google and really didn't find an answer. Any help is appreciated and if anyone wants to meet up or anything hit me up on Aim. I love cars but right now since the FC is in the garage I don't really get to play much.

Here is a picture for your enjoyment.

BEWARE!! The search police cometh! (hahaha even though you searched). Its normal gunk. This thread is stickied in the known issues and problems section. :D Hope that helps!

Thanks I appreciate it. I was unsure as what to search. I was like "oil slug" and stuff LOL.

Haha no problem. I actually noticed this with my 8 a while ago so I remembered where the thread was :) .
