Exterior door panel trim/seal replacement
 

I need to replace the black plastic piece that runs along the top of the exterior door panel and under the rear view mirror. I've searched through this forum but haven't found a DIY on it (tried "door trim" and "door seal", but no luck). Can someone help me?

Also, I'll soon be travelling in my recently purchased 2007 RX-8 from Canada down to Arizona. I'm going to be on a tight schedule and the only extra time I'll have to get an oil change is when I'm at my destination. Unfortunately, there is no Mazda Dealer near there, and it looks like my only choices may be either Jiffy Lube, or Speedy Auto. Which should I choose? Is there anything I should remind them of specific to RX-8's so they don't screw things up?

Lastly, I've read a lot on various forums about the reliability (or lack thereof) of rotary engines. While I'm new to the RX-8, back in the day I owned a 1979 Special Edition RX-7. I was young, lazy about maintainance (to the extreme), and ignorant of the needs of a rotary engine. I drove the crap out of that car for eight years and it never let me down. Not sure how many cars could have taken the abuse I gave it. I had to get rid of it when I had kids, but of all the cars I've owned, it was the best...until now, that is.

1.) Not sure I am comprehending what trim piece you need. Maybe it's because I just woke up. "exterior door panel"?

2.) Oil change...............well.............you can't do it yourself? Would only take a very short time.
If you are hell bent on having someone do it, then remind them that when the put oil back in, not to just dump it in there but to actually use the dipstick and not overfill it! In other words, don't just dump in what the manual calls for. Then after they do it, you check it and make damn sure they put the drain plug back in all the way and there are no leaks.

The trim peice I'm referring to is the black strip that runs along the top of the door and has a flanged part that catches water as it drips down the window.

Can't do the oil change myself, 'cause I'll be in a hotel.
