Exedy Clutch?
Eeek - Ordered a clutch for my 2005 6-speed engine and have only just noticed that the advert states it is for the 5-Speed.
Is this a problem, or are the clutches the same? |
Hurray!
Thanks for putting my mind at rest! |
which begs the question why you ordered it.
unless you have a burnt out clutch and its cheaper than oe. |
I'm putting a Renesis and 6 Speed Box into my Caterham. I have an engine and box, but no clutch!
|

|

The OEM Exedy clutch is not that same as the Exedy Stage 1 upgraded clutch, however |
sorry..... maybe i shouldn't post when i've had to many beers........ kane where are you to save your brother........
|
The standard Exedy one is fine for my needs - the car only weighs 850 pounds, so there's not a great deal of resistance!
Aaaaand, at $160 it's CHEAP (especially since we are getting $2 to the pound right now!). |
We've got a standard one here with just a few hundred miles on it IIRC you could have had cheap
|
How cheap? £80 cheap? Where are you based Phillip?
|
Rotherham scootz, we took it out of our Renesis unit, which has done ~1000 miles looking at the paperwork with it.
I can get you a photo if you wish. |
