Electronic Power Steering.... ok I get it.

Why do you think it is a power steering problem?? Try to disconnect the battery and see how you go.

It could be the tires. Some tires, after setting in one spot for a while, develop a flat spot. This goes away after they warm up. The Falken tires that I have on my car do this a little. My X motorhome was very bad about this. It took a couple of miles before the ride would smooth out. I heard once that it had something to do with nylon (belts?) in the tires.
