Engine problems Again!!!!!!!!!!!
 

Hey guys, I had my engine replaced with a reman. from my local Mazda dealership and It looks like with only 26000 miles on the REMAN from Mazda that it is done also... They only give a 1 yr 12000 mile warranty with these engine... They have no simpathy for rx8 owners... Anyone have any suggestions on how to possibly get them to give me a discount or have them to replace at no charge... This is my 3rd gen rotory and I dont want to let go but I have already spent $4000.00 for the reman and it only lasted 1yr 8months and 26000 miles.. the original engine got 114000 miles on it... I just very dissapointed...

Does anyone know who builds a good REMAN??????

Mazda engines seem to vary in quality. I've had 4 engines in the car in 85,000 miles. First replacement came from Japan after the original went out at 13,000 miles. That replacement went bad 11,000 miles later and was replaced with a contractor reman. That went bad 20,000 miles later and was replaced with a Mazda reman, from the VA reman facility. The Mazda reman is still going strong.

Remans on previous rotaries were extremely notorious for being bad..

We do rebuilds all the time.. Have cores in stock to rebuild also...
