drag a racoon underneath car check engine light on after?
what happened did this thing break the cable that connects to the os2 sensor to the catalyc conventer or what could it be?
|
that is a very good guess..
beers  |
unhook coon from cat first, then fix the wire.
Damn Coons!! |
whats the code? :dunno: :icon5: :scratchhe
|
Sure is better than running over a Minnesota skunk!
|
Check the oil-level sensor connector on the drivers side of the oil pan while you're at it.

I hit a raccood and did 2K in damage by cracking my front bumper, ripping off my undertray, and damaging my A/C condenser.... just recenly I took off my OEM cat and put in a RP Supercat, upon inspection of the old cat I found baked on blood from wher the coon hit it (actually him it 5 months ago) but heh it was funny to see blood still there
I could totally see the little bugger ripping the o2 sensor cable if he hit just right |

Exactly, it could be completely unrelated to what happened. To diagnose any CEL you need to know the code ... |
had the catalyc converter replaced under warranty
good news the mechanic checked the code and replaced the catalyc converter covered under the warranty
|
so what happened to the cat? did the raccoon knock the o2 sensor or did the it damage the cat somehow?
|
jack it up and take a good look. :smoker:....do damage inspection, heh,I'll loan you the jack and crawler.... :)
