Hey wuz up everyone , I just bought a custom catback exhaust from a forum member and am wondering how to install it? Do I have to pay a exhaust shop to install it or can I just jack up the car and go under and unbolt the stock one and bolt on the old one?

You should be able to jack up the car and do the rest yourself. Do a search. There are some DIY instructions on the install.

 

thnks for the reply , I am going to try to ramp it and then install the exhaust myself wednesday , I'll post some pics of the steps I took so maybe the mods can add this to the DIY forum later.

 

Plenty of DIY exhaust install pics and instructions already on the board. Search for Borla install, etc. Don't forget to lube the exhaust hangers before removing and again before reinstalling them -- this is the only difficult part of the whole process. Depending on which exhaust you purchased -- you may also have to remove the plastic piece of the rear bumper that goes around the exhaust pipes.
