Diff carrier bearings

Hi guys,

Looking to fit a Cusco diff centre to my RX8 and would like to fit new side carrier bearings. My local bearing place doesn't have a listing for the factory Mazda diff bearings (part number 0118-27-350A) and I couldn't find any specs online. Does anyone know the specifications or dimensions of these factory bearings? I could take my existing bearings in to the shop, but ideally I'd like to get hold of a new set before I pull the diff out of the car.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I don’t know the crossover numbers because I always used OEM bearings, but it’s the same as the 93-95 FD RX7. So you might find or ask over on RX7CLUB.com in that particular forum area

I already did on your behalf and nobody responded. So maybe there isn’t one or nobody bothers to use anything other than OEM. Is there some reason you don’t just order them from Mazda or a source supplier?
.

Thanks for doing that. My local bearing place is closer than a Mazda dealership, so it was convenient for me to go to them in the first instance. Just thought these diff bearings might be a common size and type, but if not I guess I'll just buy OEM from Mazda. No other reason than that.

Thanks.
