CRC Throttle Body & Air Intake Cleaner - Question

1 Attachment(s)
I bought a can of CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner and decided to buy a can of CRC Throttle Body & Air Intake Cleaner as well.

I get home and read that the CRC Throttle Body & Air Intake Cleaner says to "Not use on vehicles equipped with supercharges, turbochargers, diesel engines and/or rotary engines"

Why is this? Can I really not use this to clean my throttle body? :(

Probably because of the Acetone and/or the Toluene in it.

I'm sure as long as you use it while the car is off you shouldn't have a problem. If you are really paranoid you could just take the TB off and clean it. I wouldn't stress it too much though.

You can use it, if you plan on just cleaning your throttle body.

Thanks guys! I was hoping this was the case. I'll just be using it on my throttle body.

I've heard you can clean out the accordion tube with it, but I won't be attempting that.. I just don't know why it would say not to use on rotary equipped cars :dunno:

cuz they know most rotary engine owners are nothing but a bunch of whinning little pussies who love to blame shit left n right all the time. It's never their own freaking fault for using garbage 5w20, never their fault for revving their engine when it's dead cold, never their fault for turn up their boost to sky is the limit (RX7) then when it blows up it's the car's fault. etc etc.
