Cost to fix broken air dam?

I was stupid and pulled up too far in a parking space and bumped the air dam into a railroad tie. The bumper itself is fine, but that entire plastic underside sheet thingie is dangling down a bit (as you cans see below), held on only by it's sides, as I broke the center ties holding it up.

Has anyone else done this... and can suggest what this might cost to fix?

they're not that expensive actually. Mine had some gashes and whatnot in it when I bought my 8. I bought a replacement and installed it myself... was really easy. I'll track down a link from where I got mine....

SKIRT,FRONT AIR DAM - $91.43 and an additional $12.95 to ship it

I'm sure you can find them elsewhere too...

Tracking down the part # as they don't provide it in the order history

That's it? Wow, thank you! I was bracing myself for a $1,500 shock, lol. How hard was it to install? I'm not the most mechanically skilled person in the world, and would have to do it in a parking lot. Is that possible? Is it just screws and clips to attach it all?

Here's the part #. You can do a part # search from their site:

F151519K1B

Check and make sure you have all the fasteners, etc. The part # only includes the Air Dam and the clipons. Yup... all you need is a phillips head screw driver, a metric socket set, and about an hour's time.... assuming it is just the air dam that is damaged.

You'll also want to get some really strong sticky tape for the rotory accent. When I installed my accent I also used two wood screws in the holes provided to keep it good and secure on the airdam.

Once in a while, there would be a person who sells their airdam on this forum for super cheap. I got mine for only $25 shipped.

You may need to replace the grille as well, since the air dam fastens to the grille. I just had to replace my broken air dam and found that there are plastic tabs that are part of the grille that had snapped off. To repair it correctly I needed the air dam, grille and four new plastic pop rivets that attach the air dam to the grille. My total cost was about $300 for parts. Please note that my air dam was the appearance package air dam and not the stock air dam, so your cost will be about $100 less.

Have things changed THAT much?

I ran over a tire tread doing 70mph on the freeway. Busted up my undercarriage splash guard and air dam. Most posts were cheaper than $100. Cheapest I can find it now is $325! And that's only the air dam, the splash guard is another $200.

I tried Wayne Mazda but they're not much better. Can anyone suggest something current?
