Console lights not illuminating
After a quick search, I haven't seen any similar posts.
This happened 2ce so far. After starting up my car normally, the console lights and display screen were tatally off, radio not working, A/C working but no display to control it. Initially I thought it was a fuse but it recovers when you switch off and on the car. Anyone had the same problem? Does it mean something? |
I had this problem also. I just replaced the 15w fuse with a 20w fuse and everything worked fine. The werid thing was that when I put a 15w fuse in and I started the engine everything worked fine but than when I turned the engine off than on again the fuse was blown. This also happened to me acouple times when I put a 20w in there also I just left the 20 in there and left the car on for about 20 mins than turned off and on and everything worked fine no problems since.

Yes, this very same thing just happened to me. I thought it was a fuse but I couldn't get the fuse out with my fingers. Then I doubted myself and took it to the dealership. They changed it for $50...ouch!
So, I think I will replace mine with a 20 amp fuse also. I've had the car for 2 1/2 years without this problem, so I'm not sure why it chose this time to blow. Chris. |
But if it was fuse, it would be off all the time. I am saying that this may happen once a month or two, and it will be ok if I switch off and then on the car.
