COIL SPARK WIRE Options

So.... I'm about 60K miles right now... got a misfiring code so I've decided to start with the common coil spark wire combo, HOWEVER there are different types/ options.

Specifically I'm wondering if the C version is going to be worth the $100 extra. I DO know that BHR are considered best but I don't have $600 to throw into minor tuneup.
I've found a regular combo setup for $250 or the C version for $350. Any incite is appreciated. Is there any significance in brands also? Thanks guys

I just ordered my coils from advance auto parts, wires and plugs from mazmart (best price). The reason I went with the advance auto coils is because they have a limited lifetime warranty, which means there is a good chance I can bring them back at 30K miles and have them replaced for free. Just something to think about, they also have good reviews on the site.

If you decide to go with OEM.................then I would get the "C's"..................read on.

Doesn't seem like there is much definitive evidence on them yet. (except mazda proclaiming they're better). NOT considered performance upgrade either, but simply supposed to last longer. No real data yet though. seems they are too new.

^.........yes, that's correct, but I would still go for the "C".
I have the BHR system, so it doesn't really matter to me! :)

Don't know if you saw it, but Paul(at Mazmart) just posted a link in that thread for "C's" at $260.00 for all four.

Scroll down on that page and looks to be coils, plugs, and wires for $350.00

Re-read of your first post indicates you may have already seen this, but just in case you didn't.....................

If you read through the DIYs and then actually take a look at the car, its all pretty simple.
