Clutch Travel

The RX8 clutch seems to reach a loooong way. Has anyone found a way to shorten the travel? I would like to shorten it to no more than 2 inches (shift with my toes).

Man was thinking the same thing. Did you find anything?

Are you talking about the point of engagement when you can shift into gear? If so, you don't have to press the clutch all the way, I usually press the pedal about 1/4 of the way and it's enough to be able to shift.

If you rev match you don't actually have to use the clutch, so rev matching will allow you to depress the clutch much less on gear changes.

Can't you harm your transmission shifting without the clutch? When driving normally I barely have to push my clutch in order to shift. I usually don't focus on pressing the pedal lightly while redlining as I usually just stomp on the pedal, shift, and let go.
