Hi everyone.
Is there a way to read CEL codes without a scanner?

nope, you'll need a can scanner to get the code pulled.
There are a few on ebay that aren't too expensive that you can get.

I would suggest scangauge II, you can read and clear CELs and also monitor several info of your motor like water temp, incoming air temp, ignition timing and much more
