carbon fiber drive shaft

When I bought my 8, I remember reading somewhere that the 6 MT GT 8's had a carbon fiber drive shaft. I didnt see it listed on the 2005 specs ( I have an '04). Is this true?

i believe all MT 8's have a CF drive shaft...i dont think it's limited to GT

Yup. The 2005 Brochure on their website says CF driveshaft on Manual RX-8s.
