Caliper Rebuild Grease Packets

Rebuilding the rear brake calipers and have the full rebuild kit.
Dust boots, piston seals etc.. There is also 2 packets of grease?
One is orange color and looks more like grease.
The other is light pink and looks more jelly like.
Do you know which one is for what?
Have search/read many rebuild threads and know mention of these packets.

Uhhh, it's obvious. The light pink is strawberry jelly to make a sandwich. That's for your break you take after doing one caliper. The other is orange flavored lube. When you're done with those sexy brakes... They don't call it the panty dropper for nothing. ;) lol.

Seriously, they're probably a grease and an anti-squeal so the the brakes work correctly when complete.

Ha Ha pretty funny. lol

This is not a new pad install so I dont think they would include anti-squeal?
but you may be right.

Any one else?

The thick one is for lubricating the slides on the caliper and the thinner one is for lubing the seals when you put the caliper back together

Personally I like the ceramic brake lube for the slide pins...and I just use brake fluid for assembly...just don't get it on any painted surface :)

Thanks for the reply dannobre. I finally cut open the two of them and felt them.
Figured one was for the new seals (light pink colored) silicone type feel.

Thanks again for the reply.
