blue spots in paint
i have a black 2011 rx8 and for the second time in 4 months i have blue spots all over my car, mostly on the hood. i am told it is environmental but no other cars around mine have them. I think there is a defect in the paint or the metal and it is reacting with the heat. I live in florida and dont even have 5,000 miles on my car and i feel like i am getting the run around. please help i dont like paying for junk and florida has a lemon law

Are they on top of the paint and clear coat, or are they underneath the paint and clear coat? I also have a Black 2011, and its pretty hot here in Colorado, yet I haven't noticed any blue spots on my car. If you just had to wash them off the car, then they most likely are environmentally caused. If its actually in the paint, under the clear coat, then its something else entirely. If you have pictures, I will look at my car in the same places, and see if there's anything there I can compare with. Oh, what's the build date on your car? Might be a bad batch of paint, if it turns out to be something along those lines. BC. |

Since this is the second time these blue spots have appeared, what made them go away last time?

Build date is on the sticker on the drivers door.
So the things do come off with clay bar? BC. |

Do you park under a tree?
Sounds like weird bird poop after the birds eat some form of berry. BC. |
