bleeding problem
New master and slave cylinder
I also bought a speedbleeder I bled the clutch line until I see no more air bubbles through the plastic hose.... After 1-2 pumps, the pedal come back by itself! wow i as so happy.. unfortunately, after 10-15 pumps, it stuck to the floor...... I have to pull it up with my hand, pump few times and it get back some pressure.... but when i press the pedal to the floor and I wait there for a while, the pedal do not come back by itself If I press the clutch pedal normally, it will come back up....but i dont feel enough resistance what can be the reason? I also ran out of fluid in the reservoir one time. while bleeding....big bubble stuck in the master cylinder?? |
why would you want speedbleeder in the first place?
unless your new Master/slave have a leak somewhere. Just put regular bleeder back and u will have no problems. this is coming from a guy that has replaced the master AND slave on his own. |
so my problem would be the speedbleeder screw?
|
a lot of times, yes.

I agree with the bench bleeding..
|
Bleed time again.........
|
You basically have to start again after you sucked in air from letting the reservoir go empty.
Keep it full..and it will bleed fine :) |
could there be bubbles stuck in the slave cylinder too?
|
They will come out...just keep bleeding it till the pedal is normal :)

So I have to remove the master cylinder or not?
Is it possible to bleed the master cylinder from the its screw? You said use some violence on the clutch pedal...but would that work with a speedbleeder? with speedbleeder: -if I push-pull slowly the pedal, some bubbles appear and after a while no more bubbles -If I push-pull rapidly, many little bubbles comes out in the hose, and it seems there is no end to these bubbles.... |
im gonna remove the master cylinder tomorrow and bleed it.....put it back and bleed with the speedbleeder
if it doesn't work, im gonna put back the original bleeding screw and bleed it... if it doesnt't work, FML and im going to stealership |

How much clearance does the clutch pedal push rod have , where it fits into the rear of the master cylinder ?
|
I think the secret is you need to remove the MS and bench bleed it.
