axle spline
 

Can anyone tell me the halfshaft diameter to the hubs for the RX-8 axles?? Is it 26mm like the TII RX-7 or 29mm like the RX-7 TT, or something else?

Thanks, 800hp axles would be great, but I only need 300-400hp axles.:) I'm swapping the rear out of a Renesis Miata conversion and trying to decide which way to go with it. I have a full TII rear end w/o stub shafts, and a spare FD rear end and axles I could use. The issue comes down to cost and PITA factor in getting my axles to fit my hubs which are set up for TII axles. Using a FD/RX-8 rear end would be a cleaner install for a custon PPF over the TII rear though. If the RX-8 axles have the same diameter and spline as the TII axles at the hub, I'll get a pair of those. If not, I'll have to get my FD axles machined. Or, find a pair of TII stub shafts to finish off the TII rear end I have. Choices, choices...
