Air Box Split?
 

First, does anyone know what the item outlined in red in the first picture is? Intake Resonator? I have the Revi intake so I have marked the MAF and Throttle Body for reference.

In the second picture you can see an on edge picture of the 'resonator' and to me it looks like the two halfs of the plastic box are separating. What does anyone else's 'resonator' looks like?

2 the one on my car and the one on my spare motor look about the same... yours might have just a bit larger gap in the front...
