Aftermrket HID Issue
 

I have a HID kit that I've had about 5 years and for about a week my driver side hid would flicker before turning on, and now it has completely stopped coming on. It's only the low beams as I had to convert my car to HID's instead of the standard halogens. Im thinking maybe it's the ballast? Any help would be appreciated. This is my only way to work and I work night shift and I cannot afford a ticket right now lol.

Have you gone in there and checked every plug to make sure they are connected still? You might also try swapping your working HID light over to the other side and seeing if it fires up. If it does you know you need a bulb, if it doesn't then I'd say ballast.

Everything is connected properly, I went over it all. I guess I will try swapping and see if it works.

What kind of hids are you running? There are a ton of poor quality kits out there.
