Adding heated mirrors???
The rainy season began today in LA, and i noticed how much heated mirrors would help. my car is not a grand touring model, so heated mirrors do not come standard. would it be possible to add it on?
i dont think it would be too tough to do. i would need the internal gusts of a grand touring mirror, and then tap it into the rear defroster switch. has anyone done this or is thinking about doing it? any feedback is appreciated! |
you drive your car in the rain????

Ja, he's not like Jedi...
If he ever gets caught in the rain him and his car will melt. |
someone did this swap.
you should search, i think they said the all the cars are prewired for the hot mirrors, so you might be really lucky. Just need to put in the new glass and connect the power inside the housing. |

my only worry with driving in the rain is getting water sucked up the cold air intake. and even with that, this past weekend proved to me that its not as easy to do as many think it is. |
I dont even know if I have heated mirrors?
I have leather, bose, heated seats, 18" wheels, 6mt, DSC. |
you do. GT models come with heated mirrors. it works when the rear defroster is turned on.

I like to roast marshmellows on my mirrors.
