Ac controls
 

My 04 rx8 ac control have the glitch that makes it go from cold air to hot air, i do not have the skills to fix it myself so i wanna buy another. I found an 05 rx8 ac control. can i just switch them out?

It's all the same as we don't have automatic climate controls in the states.

My shit starting doing this too.. Is so HoTttt in Florida .. Is their a fix or do I just buy another one . I've searched and searched no luck :-(

You're not alone, I've found that if you turn the knob towards the middle and back to cold it will return cold air....annoying to deal with when you're driving..but small fix until you can get a new one or DIY (which I am searching for results currently)

The DIY simply has you re-solder the 3 connections to the potentiometer that the temperature knob is connected to. The rest of it is how to get the panel loose. Many of us have had to do it and it will save you $400 (new part) if you can do it your self.
