60k service done right? Need help.

I just did a 60k service at my dealership and here's what I could decipher from the bill:

- oil and filter change
- new windshield wipers
- air filter
- coolant
- wheel rebalancing
- brake flush

The problem I have is that they told me they'll do differential and gear oil change (as per service manual).

Am I wrong?

p.s. Service slip attached

yes, they'll likely do the trans/diff fluid change.
I'd save yourself some cash and do it yourself (if you have time). You can not only get cheaper parts, but also better than OEM.

Well, the question is, did they do it? I don't see it on the list if though they told me verbally they did it.

oh haha oops I read that wrong!
The only way to tell is to check it, but I doubt they did the service... If you payed for them to do it, bring it back and get them to do it. And if they say they have, get them to show you a sample of what is now in your gearbox and diff!

Could anyone please help with this issue?

From the bill receipt I would say No, they did not do it, despite their verbal to the contrary, as there should be trans/diff'l fluid noted (as there is motor oil). No listing = no cost for same = not done.

Take it back and request the trans/diff'l fluid change (using said evidence) or better do it yourself.

They did not charge you for it, therefore they didn't do it.

I do see some "Service Kit" on the invoice (what ammounts to charging you for the latex gloves & oil rags they use to keep the tech's hands, and your car, clean)

But there is no indication that they did transmission /or differential oil, and if they had done it... you'd better believe they would have charged you for it.

For what it's worth, when the dealer changed mine years ago, they said they put something new/different in. Synthetic maybe? I dunno, but whatever it was, it made a night and day difference on cold, winter mornings. Before the change, it was like rowing through molasses on winter mornings until it warmed up. After the change, it felt fine on even the coldest mornings.

Most likely synthetic, as it's far less viscous when cold than dino.
