Would Level 10 Torque Converters help A/t?
 

Would the Level 10 Torque Converters (if they are available) help out the Auto RX8s?

I think this was asked a while ago, although there wasn't much of a definite answer. I believe the general consensus was that it'll help out on your launches by way of a higher stall rpm. Other than that, well, you'd have to wait and see what the actual product is.

It would probably help out in increasing the amount of power that gets to the wheels by decreasing the loss that occur in your converter. Other than that, don't hope that it can let you rev up to 9K rpms like the M/T. Unless your torque converter has a lockup mechanism like found in exotic sports cars, you won't be able to see that tach point higher than 7K rpms.

I think the process with level 10 is that you send them your torque converter and they do stuff to it and then send it back. So that means you won't be able to drive your 8 for a period of time.
