try again. chamber pressure not compression ratio. :eyetwitch
When I did mine in Oct it was 127 - 129 front and rear was about the same. It could have been higher, I don't exactly remember. this was on a warm motor that sat for 45 min after a drive. also AP increased injected oil.

and 7.2 kpa or 100 psi = borderline anything below this # = rebuild

I would agree that around 125 - 130psi would be a healthy compression.

09Factor thanks for another useful infro! Do you think I should check my compression before turboing my car right?
Which aftermarket makes good rotary blade?

You will atleast know what you started out with compressions wise.

As for good Apex seals (thats what I'm thining u meant) Dr. Ianetti has some really killer ceramic ones. Widely used in the raceing circut. There is another manufacture that makes semi-flexible ones. Don't remember the name. Someone here did post some info on them.

Can anyone help me find what website I can purchase a better aftermarket Apex seal, I research online and in this forum, I didn't find anything please help! thanks

There isn't one. Unless you want to pay several thousand dollars for "Dr. Ianetti has some really killer ceramic ones". The factory ones should suffice.

got it thanks!
