I just zip tied it to the Grill. I dont have a front plate anymore since I moved to Tennessee. I know Zip ties are pretty getto but they are easy to take off when I want to

09Factor 03-21-2010 08:04 AM

i'd pick zip ties over a ticket any day!

lilring 03-21-2010 09:51 AM

Yup! I always keep zip ties in the car too. They have came in handy plenty of times on the road

yeah i've herd i need a ring for the top and bottom lol i dont know i'll figure something out give me a few days

lilring 03-21-2010 05:38 PM

Im using the auto knob with the shift boot. No problems at all.

bkkkk93 03-21-2010 05:53 PM

so you didnt need anything extra?

Wig92 03-21-2010 07:58 PM

this looks like its plug and play. its obviously a bit pricey compared to the others but it has the ring with the screw holes around it. so that might be an easy install if you didnt want the hassle.

lol wish i could have seen this earlier i already bought a $60 boot from shift style and now i need the ring

lilring 03-21-2010 08:34 PM

you dont need any ring. All you need is a boot. I will take some time tomarrow to pull mine apart to take some pics for you guys. it is very easy to install. it will only take like 15 mins at the most

bkkkk93 03-21-2010 08:39 PM

I will contribute as well, stock ish exterior, but I still love it.

Exterior mods are Tein Coilovers drop, JDM Clear sidemarkers, 8000k HID headlights with 3000k fog, and license plate relocation.

lilring 03-21-2010 08:48 PM

nope, I used the BELL licence plate bracket, it was ZUMN's idea. I think its in the DIY section. You can get it at Autozone and its only like $11.99

theyre enkei J10s 18s with 245/40/18 tires all around. I love em.

@cfm- did you have to screw into the body at all?? im really interested in doing this. seems cheaper/easier than the evo kit.
