Renesis 4-Port Manual Trans Rear Iron Side Plate
While the rear iron side plate for the 5-spd 4-port engine was never sent to the USDM on a production vehicle, it can still be purchased and imported/shipped from Japan.
Just documenting the part number here for future reference: Part No. N3H1-10-C50 https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...c692c1a03.jpeg . https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...45fe51b58.jpeg . |

I literally stumble on 3 sets of 4 port manual plates in my garage. Can't see what is so desirable in them; their exhaust ports open later and as such are even smaller than those on 6 ports.
Want to know how they do as NA.... well: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...596e697a2e.jpg |

I think he is saying more so for people buying the 4 port auto for a turbo build, I assume you need a 4 port manual rear iron for a manual trans? I am unsure though just speculating.
because not really any point asking someone in Romania to ship a used one compared to buying and shipping a new one from Japan. :suspect: I’d probably want to pair the 4-port end plates up to a 6-port center though. Both the Sec & Exhaust ports on the end plates can be massaged to duplicate the 6-Port size/timing. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...e4fd5a78f.jpeg . |
