hi, guys! I want to buy an automatic transmission RX-8 from USA! So does it have a version with 238 hp or only 192?? Please tell me about the specifications in America! thanks...;)

congrats on your purchase of the 8. that being said no one really knows how much power the 8 has, (at least i dont think anybody on this subforum knows...) it really depends on which model you have. if you have a 6 speed trans. then your car might make 197. if yours is a 4 speed trans. (making it a 4 port) it probably has less than 197. Mazda lied about how much power the 8 makes, the MT only make 207 at the wheel so....ours is probably less. for future reference USE THE SEARCH! its there to be your friend, and help out in any way possible.

The stat sheets says..

4 port, 4 spd AT - 197 hp. Year - (2004, 2005)
6 port, 6 spd AT - 212 hp. Year - (2006+)

And how is the dynamic for 6 port, 6 spd AT - 212 hp. Year - (2006+)???? :rolleyes:

dynamic? im a little confused, yes the six port is on the 2006 models and up.

because it redlines at 7500rpm
