I wanted an AT - drove both and did not care for the clutch placement. I was more interested in handling and enjoyment then speed because all my vehicles get FI eventually.

Noob question... and yes I looked around for the answer before I decided to ask... BUT.

What is FI?

Just now getting into the world of 8s and trying learn as best I can. Thanks.

Allow me to help a local resident before the flammers come :)

FI = Forced Induction (eg. Turbo, Supercharger)

I would hope the flamers would not swoop in, it's a legit question - there was a time that it was also foreign to me.

Thanks guys. Makes a lot more sense now lol.

I'm being taught by my buddy from work who is one of the reasons i got sucked into the world of rotaries. he is a Rx7 owner and guiding me along the "correct" path in cars haha.

So far I love my rotary and am planning on putting more time and effort into figuring this stuff out.

Your lucky that you have a buddy that will look out for you. A lot of first time owners on this forum don't have that resource, or learned the hard way.
