Call me crazy... Just thought of this, and it may be dumb but why not turbo an 8 and just run 5 psi boost max... It'll make the 8 more peppy but shouldn't put too much strain on the seals... Sure, maybe only get 50hp but hopefully it'll be a reliable 50hp

, a stock Greddy kit with just a Cobb tune and the vacuum hose fixes is probably a good idea.

Yeah , there are lots of guys doing just that with many happy turboed miles under their belts. |
:wavey: ummm right here :D: 9 psi (no boost controller hooked up so drops to 7psi at 7000rpm+) 30000kms so far no issues.... thought I had one but turned out to be a tuning issue with new ignition system, still running solid

You just jinxed yourself.

haha I should say no boost controller yet... have it, just have no time to install it

 Good luck having enough self control to run just 5psi. Once you get a taste of 10psi you are done.

5psi would be like getting Blue Balled :tear: Forgive me :Peace: |
just curious, has anyone used the synthe-renesis oil made by mazda for the RX8? it's 0-30.

It's not sold in the U.S. and it wouldn't be worth the dealer mark up anyway, it's not like Mazda makes the oil, it is likely re branded Castrol GC.
