Tuning

I have been on the phone for the past few days with both ATI procharger, and MC Racing in Kansas City. I have been trying to setup a purchase agreement with MC Racing to buy their supercharger kit for the RX-8. It is the same one that is on the 8 at Sunflower Mazda in KC. There is one glitch however, and that is that they havent been able to tune it properly. They have worked directly with Carzoomer(spelling?), and come up with nothing but setbacks. In any case the agreement involved them allowing me to purchase a stage 2 kit , but I would have to tune it myself, with some minor assistance from their knowledge base. I am located in Columbus, OH and was wondering if anyone would be able to help me through the process of properly tuning the 8 once the kit was in place, if I was to purchase it. I am open to any suggestions, as I need help and from I have seen in the past this forum has plenty to offer. Thank you for your time, and if anymore information is required please feel free to PM me. I will do my best to keep you updated.

the ric shaw is 1350 USD would I still need that if you were going to tune it for me Jason. Are you one of the guys at Advanced Imports, off of Roberts Road?

Yea that is us.
Your car would need some sort of tuneable ECU like the Ric Shaw, Canzoomer or Emanage.

Has anyone successfully worked with a Ric Shaw ECU here? I keep hearing about how it's the best way to go, but I haven't really anything about it.

My concern exactly but hey if someone has even looked at one in person, that is more experience then I have with it so I will be modest and accept all of the advice given.

1- I wonder if you can purchase the greddy kit w/o the emanage.
2- I was wondering the same thing. no one has a clear answer to the engine management problem yet. thats whats holding me back from all of this.
