Changed throttle body and MAF and now it revs without hiccup all the way to the buzzer.

I also ordered new solonoids as that could be the only other part that could be faulty.

Clocked up around 8000km.

Diagnosed a couple of minor oil leaks to the oil coolers. Thread tape helped resolve the issue. I still have a oil leak at the oil pedestal. I have a oil diverter in this location and I just renewed the seal and bolts and still have a leak.

I have ordered a new gasket as it was not installed by my mechanic. I hope this will resolve the issue.

I have also ordered couple of parts to complete LS coil relocation to the chassis rail. The stock coils are sandwiched between the hot supercharger compressor and engine so its not ideal. And there is no space for the larger LS coils.

I getting closer to installing the supercharger I am hoping to have it running within two months.

Went back to the stock oil pedestal as the leaks oil leak was getting really bad. I think one of the banjo fittings had a bad leak.

I am also baffled by the sudden increase in the vacuum at idle and decel after clearing the oil leak.

The next project is to relocate the LS coils to the chassis rail. I have all the components now just have to measure the lengths for the wires and connect together.

Car has been running nicely.

I have prepped the supercharger for installation. I will start with the troublesome oil adapter to relocate to the rear so I have clearance to fit the supercharger. I have made some changes to the adapter lines to resolve the oil leaks. Hopefully it works.

If its successful, then I will add the supercharger and crank it up and get it tuned.

Oil filter successfully relocated to the rear.

So far no oil leaks. I also resolved a minor oil leak on the LHS oil cooler connector.

Any ideas on gear oil for the supercharger? I have deleted the engine oil feed lines to eliminate leaks and reduce heat in the supercharger.

I was thinking of using transmission oil instead

Back in the day Mark recommended a specific Redline fluid. I don't remember the name and I sold my kit. I'll get you the info this afternoon after I'm done with work.

I used casterol full synthetic. I think I pulled the weight from a kenne bell info sheet on a similar blower.

Not that I saw. It did generate enough heat to melt some wire shielding that was too close.

The car is ready. I am waiting for the gear oil to arrive today and I will get to start it up.

I have moved most my harness away from the supercharger and added some heat shield to the wires that could not be moved

Its alive. Ran the car until warmup. It settled down to normal idle.

Tomorrow I will add the base tune via Mazdaedit and take it for a series of runs for logging

The rattling noise was from the pulley as I only hand screwed the bolts and it was quite wobbly. It's been fixed now
