SFR 326WHP turbo system-1 year update

We heard back from one of our customers who had us install a Speed Force Racing turbo system about a year ago. The verdict.......the car is running great and he wants to turn up the boost and try to make more power  As the car is right now, it makes 326WHP on a Dyno Dynamics. So anyways,we thought we would post about a semi-long term update.

what engine managment is he/she using?

SpeedForceRacing 09-13-2006 01:16 PM

We are using the Powermod ECU,formally TSI EMS.It is like the interceptor-X.

How many miles has he put on the turbo?

Nemesis8 09-13-2006 01:25 PM

Must have been a nice tune job - great news.

That PowerMod looks pretty nice the more I read about it. If it weren't for looking like we are on the advent of reflash systems I think I may get that one.

sounds good so far... us so cali guys get to see one in person at 7 stock, actually he will be joining up with our caravan.that will be interesting to see and hear..

Moostafa29 09-13-2006 02:48 PM

Is the owner a forum member? Would they be able to post a dyno? I just want to see if they are able to hold their boost to redline.

XDEEDUBBX 09-13-2006 02:55 PM

his screen name is D1GT something..haha he has that carbon fiber veilside kit..

Moostafa29 09-13-2006 03:07 PM

I remember him, I just don't ever remember hearing about that, or seeing any dyno. Kit does look awesome though.

XDEEDUBBX 09-13-2006 03:46 PM

he never spoke about any numbers or anything like that..oh well, it was very brief, guess we'll have to wait till 7 stock.

HolyCross05 09-13-2006 04:12 PM

How much did this kit cost with the install?

Moostafa29 09-13-2006 04:29 PM

Arm+Leg+Top Ramen for 6 months.

XDEEDUBBX 09-13-2006 04:34 PM

hahaha

Jedi54 09-13-2006 05:35 PM

Glad to hear the car is holding up after a year. I too would love to see the powerband on a dyno.

SpeedForceRacing 09-13-2006 06:39 PM

Thats the guy.He said he was going to make a post so lets see if he does.

HolyCross05 09-13-2006 06:42 PM

Those are pretty good numbers. How come more people haven't gotten this kit?

XDEEDUBBX 09-13-2006 06:55 PM

$$$$

lazi 09-13-2006 07:02 PM

too much dinero

Moostafa29 09-13-2006 07:35 PM

Wow, when the boost hits, it really must kick. It looks as though its falling off at the top end like the other kits though.

SpeedForceRacing 09-13-2006 07:53 PM

The boost is stable but the motor itself is not capable of taking in the extra air at high rpms.I have a feeling it has to do with the intake manifold.

I think you get what you pay for and with our kit you get alot for the money :ylsuper: We also offer this as a tuner kit for alot less money so you get all the hard parts you need, just no EMS or injectors, so you can do your own tuning.

I've read it could also have to do with the exhaust ports as well. Either way more power is more power. You hit 9k so fast you can't really notice the power dropping off anyway, you just see your boost gauge drop.

Mzdarx8 09-13-2006 08:49 PM

I agree with Moostafa29 on the exhaust ports! Just seems like there is some restriction on the exhaust side when running this much CFM!! Flow in = Flow out

I thought Mazda made the intake and exhaust ports about 20-30% larger in the Renesis! So where are the restriction's coming from? Intake or exhaust!
