RX7 housing in a Renesis

My engine is probably on its last legs. I already bought a 6 port to replace my current 4 port and I want to make it special.
I was wondering if I could use a RX7 housing. Reason being the peripheral exhaust port. As I thought that more exhaust flow is better (I read that the exhaust ports on the Renesis are rather restrictive). Obviously I need a custom exhaust flange and fill in the water seal grooves on either the side or the rotor housing.

Is it apart from these things possible to use a RX7 housing and will it provide any benefit?

Been covered many times, you can search for those threads. The long and short of it is it's a major project that will ultimately produce less power than a renesis unless you also turbo it. The peripheral ports produce entirely different timing and if you don't also seal the side ports you have really wacky timing.

Thanks. I saw the threads as soon as I posted. I did search but apparently not good enough.
I'll look a little more into it before probably giving up :p

If you did the same with your post similar to this, that would be great. Do you get a hard one every time you write replies like this? Must be something, since you bother polluting the forum with them.

Hopefully you were looking in the mirror when you posted that. Unlike yourself, all I did is politely ask him to delete it, which then deletes my comment (and now yours too).
