Recommended Clutch/Flywheel Combo for FI Use

So my clutch is slipping more and more, and the need for a new one has become very obvious.
While changing the clutch i figure this is a good oppurtunity to upgrade the flywheel as well.

I was leaning heavily towards the ACT Extreme Duty Street Clutch Kit and ACT Prolite Flywheel and Counterweight, but before making the purchase i'd like to hear your opinions.

Thanks!

i used this clutch on my car my only concern is the increase pedal pressure. if youre running on stock engine buy an act regular one unless if youre running on boost or No2.

Upgrade transmission mount n engine mount also if u can afford

Why the extreme model? Do you plan to push more torque than the heavy duty can handle, or just want the assurance it will hold up.

We Using exedy 3 disc unit in our 657 hp 3 rotor rx8 and this work fine. the only downs of it is the price tag $ 1,700.00. i think the exedy single disc clutch work fine for your aplication.

I am running a Racing Beat flywheel and the ACT clutch that Mazsport sells. Based on my dyno results, I'm believe I'm pushing somewhere around 285RWHP right now, and have had no problems whatsoever.

Yeah, no need for the extreme model. Even with a turbo we aren't pushing the kind of power that necessitates this. You will get increased clutch pedal effort in everyday trraffic.

Oh yes... i meant Heavy Duty, my mistake. For some reason i thought the extreme duty had the lighter load.
So yeah the 330 ft-lbs of torque specs from the heavy duty clutch should work fine.
Accordint to ACTs description, the pedal pressure level shoudn't be too much stiffer than stock, which is good to hear.

Well, sounds like ACT is getting the thumbs up. Excellent.

ScudRunner,
The ACT Flywheel is 9.9lbs + 4.5lbs for the counterweight. (total of 14.4lbs)
Racing Beat states their Flywheel is 12lbs and uses the stock counterweight. Do you know what the weight of the stock counterweight is?

Thanks for the info everyone.

As for clutch pedal pressure, I can't really notice any greater effort required on my part with the new clutch either. Of course, I have giant man feet, so there's no telling really.
