PA Greddy turbo

Hey boys and ladies, if there are any lol.. i have an 05 6 spd with greddy turbo, cai mod, coil pack upgrade, agency power cat back with race pipe, and a slew of other mods. Basically every bt on avaliable. Im overall pleased with the car but I'd like some more power obviously. I also have a 04 mach I stang with 6000 miles and 8psi procharger and a 16 nismo 370z thats stock so far. The rx8 handles lovely and is extremely balanced but in comparison to the other 2 cars it feel weak. Especially next to the stang.. clearly the mustang doesn't have the handling capabilities and its not as nice but the power is totally different. I had it recently dynoed at 417 rwhp. Im wondering if anyone has run tbe quarter with similar mods as im just curious what it would run. My stang ran an 11.9 on street tires and the z hit a 13.1 respectively. I would like to do the Mazda maniac upgrade but i dont believe its still available? Do any of you guys know if it is indeed still out there or if someone may be selling it second hand? Also ive seen the mazdatrix kit. Does anyone hve any experience with it? If so what kind of gains might i expect? Being that i have the other two i dont drive the 8 much now and if i cant get much more power from it i my either sell it or ive been thinking about doing a swap to a 3rd gen 1eb and use the turbo renesis in an mx5 project car. Any opinions would be great. Thanks in advance gents

On a Renesis the max you are going to get is 350WHP with any sense of reliability and that would take a much larger turbo than the Greddy, custom manifold, and a few other custom touches to get to that point and less than a handful of people have done that in 10+ years. With the standard Greddy kit you would be lucky to get 270WHP. It is a 13.L that was not designed for boost.

Mazdatrix kit? Search.

The stock greddy setup can really make the rx8 a joy to drive if it's set up properly . How well is yours going ?Sounds like it might need sorting if it's too slow for you. It's never going to match the mustang , but it should easily match the 370z with what you have there already.

Id like to think i have a good clean set up.like I have many supporting mods for the boost. Coils, koyo, ngk cold plugs, and pretty much everything i could possibly less getting into the engine. Its not slow by any means but id just like more is all.thats what peaks my interest on the mm upgrade as im pretty sure it includes a gt35 right? Btw my tuning was done via cobb by mm. I at first used the greddy emanage ultimate and wasnt happy with the results. The cobb is great in comparison. My z is definitely quicker but not by a wide margin yet. I plan on doing the fast intentions tt kit soon. My buddy currently has the setup on his Z and actually just got an r32 skyline (yeah..super jealous lol) and he wants to upgrade the z with a bigger kit. Currently hes putting down 632 at the wheels which is awesome. I know the renny will never be anywhere near that kind of output. Im just hoping with the mm upgrade that i could maybe get more like 350 at the wheels. I dont think this is unreasonable. Also when i lived in fort Lauderdale i took a ride to Pettit and spoke to the old man one day. Great guy and he spent about an hour hanging out with me looking at my set up and talking rotarys. Great to talk to a guy that knowledgeable and pick up some info..but he told me that at that time they had just installed a set of 3rd gen rotors in their sc motor. Obvious plus for this is that the compression comes to 8.5:1 which is lovely. He said the car at the time was running flawless but he wanted to get more miles on it before giving me the green light on the swap. Have you guys heard anything on that? This was about 5 years ago and i hadn't been there since.

I just read your build sheet, very impressive set up 9k. With the modified turbo are you able to keep more consistent boost through the entire range? How is throttle response? I didnt see any dyno numbers either. And have you done the quarter with it? Thats a great car man
