Does anyone have accelerator pedal pinout?

I'm trying to get DBW back for cruise control. jk. I need it to aid with traction control while keeping the boost up.

There are 6 wires coming from OEM rx8 accelerator pedal harness. Does anyone have pinout for the wires? The wiring diagram shows where it goes in the PCM, but not much about which wire is 12v, ground, sensors, etc.

Thanks!

Do you have this?

yea I have it. The pdf only describes the pinout to the stock ECU... I need to know which of the 6 wire is the 12v, ground, and position sensor wires... so I can connect it to an aftermarket ECU.

First off...it is 0-5V signal...so 12V won't work :)

The APP sensor is a dual redundant sensor...so there are 2 buit into the 6 wires

Sensor 1 is first 3 and sensor 2 is last 3

They are looking for a signal between .35V on the low end and 4.8V on the high end

The 2 wires that are grounds are the inside wires on the 3 triplets....

Here is the pics for reference to see the PCM 5V input and the outputs from the 2 circuits

wow thanks!

5v, check :) thank you.

so to sum up: looking at the 6 pin accelerator pedal harness from left to right:
1st sensor wire, 1st sensor wire, ground, ground, 2nd sensor wire, 2nd sensor wire

It sounds like it's variable resistor style, so 2 wires in each sensor could be flipped around.

I will draw it out tomorrow sometime to confirm before I start soldering. Thanks man!

Look at the diagrams again :) they aren't ABCDEF in the pictures ;)

I guess if the Afternmarket ECU can be calibrated you can likely use any imput voltage as long as you can scale it...but if you use the stock TB you need to keep the voltage 0-5V so you don't cook the motor :)...but the motor may be 12V feed...I wil check and see ;)

Nope...it's 5V Max :)
